Since 1999, we have been converting and refurbishing entire apartment buildings and individual apartments (mostly Gründerzeit and from the 30s). In addition to renewing the building services to the latest standards, this includes core renovation and the renewal or replacement of bathrooms and kitchens.

 

The structural condition, maintenance backlog and the wishes of the new user with regard to changes in floor plan design and room allocation determine the scope of the renovation work and the need for coordination with the respective WEG/house management.

Usually, the electrical and sanitary infrastructure is completely reorganised and the heating system is converted or adapted.

 

In terms of design, the historic building stock is revived and reinterpreted: Restoration and additions, upgrades (including statically) and adaptation to modern living requirements, as well as user-specific additions such as balconies are integrated, including the corresponding approval steps and façade adaptation.

 

The material and colour design as well as modern installation are carried out according to the wishes of the new residents. A carefully coordinated colour concept in combination with high-quality furnishings and fittings allow the generous character to shine through again.

 

Historic or newly found room sequences of representative salons facing the street, connected by double wing and sliding doors, whose particularly beautiful period details are restored by careful repair and refurbishment of the high-quality substance, form a sensible unit with a concentrated backstage area with serving functions. For ecological and design reasons, work is partly carried out in exchange with historical building materials.

 

Selected, tried and tested companies from the plastering, carpentry, painting and installation sectors are implementing all of this under finely-meshed planning and construction management.
